Let's talk

Arc XP · United States

Arc XP for media in the United States.

A bilingual team that works on US East Coast hours and knows Arc XP from the inside. A fit for Hispanic media and for newsrooms that need more technical hands.

  • Prior experience in the digital area of a national newspaper
  • Real experience with Arc XP and Arc Publishing

(01) How we help

Everything your Arc XP needs, in one team.

From day-to-day support to new features and integrations.

01

Ongoing support

We keep your Arc XP stable and up to date and solve the day-to-day incidents.

02

Your Arc XP team

When you have no in-house developers, we provide ours as an extension of your outlet.

03

Implementation

We help you implement Arc XP from scratch or finish what was left half done.

04

Integrations

We connect Arc XP with Piano (subscriptions), Cxense / Piano Audience, Google Ad Manager and data such as DataFactory.

05

AdOps and advertising

We implement Google Ad Manager (formerly DFP) slots with lazy loading and viewability, without sinking your Core Web Vitals.

06

PageBuilder and front end

We build and maintain your PageBuilder templates and components.

07

Content migration

We migrate your content to or from Arc XP without losing data along the way.

(02) What is Arc XP

A powerful media platform. And demanding.

Arc XP is the CMS and digital experience platform created by The Washington Post, used by major media outlets worldwide. It is very powerful, but it demands a team that knows its architecture: PageBuilder, the content model, its APIs and its integrations. That is where we come in.

01

Support and maintenance for implementations already running.

02

Your Arc XP technical team when you have no in-house developers.

03

Implementation from scratch or evolution of the one you already have.

04

Integrations with your systems: subscriptions, advertising, analytics and third parties.

(03) Why a nearshore team

Arc XP hands in your time zone.

Ecuador is on UTC-5: the same time as the US East Coast in winter and one hour behind in summer. That lets us work in real time with your newsroom, with no overnight shifts.

01

Same working day

daily meetings, code reviews and incident response within your hours, not the next day.

02

Bilingual

documentation, tickets and meetings in English or Spanish, ideal for Hispanic media in the United States.

03

Arc XP experience

before Codegea, we worked as developers in the digital area of a national newspaper in Ecuador, on Arc XP: PageBuilder, subscriptions, advertising and data.

04

Nearshore costs

a senior team invoicing in dollars with clear support agreements, without a New York agency rate.

(04) Why Codegea

A technical team that knows Arc XP.

The team’s prior experience in the digital area of a national newspaper, with clear support agreements.

+15

More than 15 years digitizing businesses with custom web and software.

Arc XP

PageBuilder, integrations and migrations: what your outlet needs to operate.

Tailored

Support with scope, hours and response times agreed with you.

(05) How we work

We step in, understand and take charge.

We audit your Arc XP

We review your implementation, integrations and technical debt and give you a clear diagnosis.

We define the plan

We agree scope, priorities and support model in writing. No surprises or hidden costs.

We execute and support

We fix, build and stay by your side keeping the platform healthy over time.

(06) Stack

The CMS of media like The Washington Post.

A powerful platform that needs hands that truly know it.

(07) Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Arc XP.

Do you work with media in the United States?

Yes. We work remotely and in English with US media and teams, especially Hispanic outlets and newsrooms that need to extend their Arc XP technical team.

How do you coordinate with a team in another city?

Ecuador is on UTC-5 all year, so overlap with the East Coast is complete and with the West Coast several hours. We agree on working windows, an incident channel and written reports.

Are you an official Arc XP partner?

No. We are an independent team with real experience developing on Arc XP; we work with your license and your environment.

Do you support an Arc XP implementation we already have?

Yes, it is one of our strengths. We plug into your current Arc XP, understand how it is built and take over support, incidents and improvements, with or without documentation.

We have no Arc XP developers. Can you be our team?

Exactly. We work as your Arc XP technical team: you set the priorities and we execute, as an extension of your outlet.

Can you implement Arc XP from scratch?

Yes, or finish a half-done implementation. We guide you through the content model, PageBuilder, the APIs and the integrations you need.

Do you do integrations and migrations with Arc XP?

Yes. We connect Arc XP with subscriptions, advertising, analytics and third parties, and handle content migrations to or from the platform.

What experience do you have with Arc XP?

The people on our team previously worked as developers in the digital area of a national newspaper in Ecuador, on Arc XP: PageBuilder, integrations with Piano, Cxense, Google Ad Manager and DataFactory. That experience is personal and predates Codegea. We are not an official Arc XP partner: we work with your license.

Do you work with media outside Ecuador?

Yes. We work remotely with media in Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile…) the United States and Canada; Arc XP support does not depend on where you are.
